The wearable that answers back: Thrive launches with World Gym Australia

Optihealth Group has launched Thrive Health Band, bringing sleep, recovery, vitals, activity and everyday habits into one connected picture, including a rollout with World Gym Australia.

Australian Founded. Australian Engineered. Australian Owned.

GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA, 22 September 2026: Gold Coast health technology company Optihealth Group has launched Thrive Health Band, bringing sleep, recovery, vitals, activity and everyday habits into one connected health picture. Alongside its direct-to-consumer launch, Thrive is launching with World Gym Australia, which has more than 60 clubs across Australia.

Thrive combines a wearable band, the Thrive app and the My Health web portal. It learns what is usual for each person, connects their readings with the habits they record, and helps them understand what is changing.

With Ask Thrive, people can ask questions such as “What seems to affect my sleep?” or “How has my recovery changed?” and receive plain-language answers based on their own readings and records.

Australian ideas, Australian engineering

Thrive was designed, developed and engineered in Australia. Co-founders Graham and Linda Gordon created the platform to address a familiar frustration: people have more health data than ever, but still struggle to understand what it means for them.

“People can see their sleep score, count their steps and log their meals, but they are often left to work out how those things relate.”

Graham Gordon, Co-Founder and CEO of Optihealth Group

“We developed Thrive to bring that information together, learn what is usual for you and help you understand what is changing. Then just Ask Thrive.”

Launching with World Gym Australia

Thrive’s rollout into participating World Gym Australia clubs connects what happens on the gym floor with members’ sleep, recovery and everyday habits.

Through Thrive Loops, members can choose to share selected information with their personal trainer. Trainers can use that context alongside the strength programs and training plans they create using Thrive’s Trainer Portal, helping members understand their progress both inside and outside the gym.

For members, this means a clearer view of how their daily routines relate to their training. For trainers, it provides useful context for conversations about progress, recovery and the next steps in a member’s program.

A connected picture, built around you

Thrive brings wearable readings together with the context people add, including meals, mood, energy and symptoms. Its personal baseline develops over time as it learns more about the individual.

Sleep, recovery, vitals, activity, nutrition and body composition sit within the same platform, helping people explore their health without piecing together information from separate apps.

Users can explore patterns across their records and try manageable changes to their routines. Ask Thrive helps explain those patterns in ordinary language, with answers shaped by the information available.

Thrive Loops also lets users share selected information with a health professional, trainer or someone they trust, while remaining in control of what they share.

Pricing and availability

Thrive is available to purchase at thrivehealthband.com. The launch offer starts at A$660 and includes the Thrive Band, 12 months of Thrive health intelligence and free Australia-wide shipping. Individual, couple and family plans are available.

The Thrive app is available to download from Apple’s App Store in Australia. The Android app will shortly be available on the Google Play store. Purchases are made through the Thrive website, not through app stores or in-app purchases.
